Our most asked questions about how it all happens at Adventure Kit Hire

HIRE QUESTIONS

No, we do not require a deposit for any of our hire items.

We will always try and accommodate your hire dates. If you can't find what you need on the website please email us with all the details of what you need and the dates required.

If you are interested in purchasing the item(s) you have hired drop us an email with your order number and we will send you a quote.

All quotes are subject to availability.

If you would like to keep your item(s) longer, please extend your hire through our Hire extension page.

We always want our customers to have well fitting equipment! If your original hire does not fit perfectly please request an exchange on our Hire Exchange page.

Please note all exchanges are subject to availability.

You may cancel your hire with us any time up to 7 days before your hire start date.

If you cancel within 7 days you will be charged 50% of your hire fee.

We cannot accept cancellations or change of hire start date once the item has been despatched.

Please report any damage to us on Whats App as soon as you can, if you can include any images that would be helpful. We will contact you to discuss. 

We understand that hire items are subject to reasonable wear and tear. If the item(s) becomes damaged please do let us know as soon as possible.

If the damage is outside of normal wear and tear you may be charged as outlined in our T&Cs.

Yes, please return all Item(s) in a clean condition as you would wish to recieve them.

Please follow any ‘How to clean’ guides sent to you with your hire item(s).

Late returns may incur charges.

To avoid late charges please extend your hire via out Hire Extension page.

We do not offer refunds on hire items returned early or unused.

Event Hires

Event Hire Bookings (Pre-booked wetsuit or kit hire at an organised event)

You can cancel pre-booked event hires up to 7 days before the event for a full refund.

Cancellations made within 7 days or no-shows on the day are non-refundable, as equipment and staffing are prepared in advance.

For on-the-day hires, all sales are final once payment is made.

If an event is cancelled by the organiser, we’ll offer a credit, or transfer.

DELIVERY / RETURNS & SHIPPING QUESTIONS

You will receive a dispatch email with tracking information.

Yes, when you get to the checkout page you will have the options ‘Ship’ or ‘Pick up’.

If you wish to collect & return in person please select ‘Pick up’ when you order and we will contact you when it's ready for collection. 

Shipping costs vary by item depending on their size and whether you are hiring or purchasing.

We also offer express shipping at an additional cost.

SMALL ITEMS - Ski Wear, Wetsuits, Packrafts, Restrap Bike Packing, Camp & Hike items etc.

  1. Click here to create return label for your item(s) via DPD.
  2. Re-use the original packaging and drop off at a DPD parcel shop.

LARGE ITEMS - Burley Trailers, Bike Boxes and bags, Strollers, SUP’s, Turbo Trainers etc.

Yes, for all our hire products the shipping fees include Delivery & Returns, Packaging & Servicing.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Yes, if you are looking to order in bulk. Please contact us to discuss discount options.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

For purchased items only (i.e not hire items):

  • If you wish to return your shop purchase, we have a 14 day return policy.
  • Refunds are strictly not accepted on Ex-Demo / Pre Loved products.
  • Please refer to our T&Cs for more details.

For hire items:
